FAST & SIMPLE PROCESS​

TO EUROPEAN CITIZENSHIP

STEP 1 – Select Real Estate Investment

Investor selects property/ies either by visiting Cyprus or through correspondence. Purchase agreement is signed and full payment of real estate investment is made. Receipt is issued by developer (required for application).

STEP 2 – Preparation of Documents

All necessary documents prepared by applicant to be translated in Greek or English and certified. Documents are certified by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs & relevant Cyprus Embassy.

STEP 3 – Pre-Clearance Check

Appointed lawyer completes a pre-clearance check.

STEP 4 – Application for PR & EU Citizenship

The investor applies for Permanent Residency Permit (Fast Track) together with his/her application for Cyprus (EU) Citizenship.

STEP 5 – Payment of Fees & Submission

Payment of submission fees per adult applicant. Application lodged at the Ministry of Interior.

STEP 6 – Issue of EU Citizenship

Issuance of Cyprus (EU) Citizenship certificates. Certificates to be signed by the applicant within three months of receiving approval in front of a Cypriot Court or a Consular at any Cypriot Consulate abroad. Issuance of passports of the main applicant and their spouse.

STEP 7 – Applications of Immediate Family Members

Submission of applications of Investor’s children and parents to be naturalised.

STEP 8 – Issue of EU Citizenship for Family

Issuance of Cyprus (EU) Citizenship certificates of Investor’s children and parents. Investor’s adult children / parents must visit Cyprus within 3 months to collect their passports and identity cards.

Investment Criteria and Conditions

  1. Cyprus Citizenship may be obtained through a secure residential property investment of €2 Million, provided the investor maintains a residential property to the value of €500,000 (plus VAT) as a main residence.
  2. The investment can be a single property or portfolio.
  3. When the investment includes any commercial or touristic units, or land, then the total investment should be €2.5 Million, provided the investor maintains a residential property to the value of €500,000 (plus VAT) as a main residence.
  4. The main investment may be sold after a period of three years, however the investor must always maintain / purchase a property with a value of at least €500,000 (plus VAT).
  5. A clean criminal record is required.
